Poor TV reception ? Had/Have cable TV installed.

Hi...
Thought everyone knew about this..!
Part of any Cable TV providers agreement with the government back in the days when cable was being planned was to allow for basic signals to still work if I remember correctly...
Believe you are looking for an F to Coax connector. F being female. It just screws on to the dangling cable line you should have, and the other end is simply a traditional male ended aerial coax connector. Hey presto...more channels..! Do some random tuning every now and then as occasionally you get other channels too....disney etc...weekend promotions and the like...
*** ...a couple of example F to Coax connectors ***
Should cost somewhere in the region of 50p - £3.00 depending on where you shop.
If you have a cable company nearby with a walk in service, they sometimes supply these over the counter for free. Better yet, request it when they disconnect you...

As for the other MSE's out there who were wondering about splitters to allow broadband and multiple feeds etc they are available on ebay for a couple of quid. Just search for cable tv splitters
