MSN & Hotmail problem

Options
Wondering if anyone can shed some light on a problem I'm having accessing MSN and Hotmail currently.

I recently upgraded to a wireless modem router and ever since I seem unable to connect to either MSN or Hotmail, all my other regular sites are working and I can connect to MSN & Hotmail using a different computer.

I've checked the settings in my internet options boxes and they appear unchanged from before. Could I have done something during the transfer from wired to wireless that would cause this?

Thanks for any assistance

Depending on who your ISP is, you may need to reduce the MTU in the router to say 1432. Read the user manual to find out how.

  • Thanks for the advice. ISP = Virgin.net

I've just checked this and the MTU is already set to 1432. What is MTU anyway?
Any other ideas I could look into?
