Q. about appliances on charge

Hi...Does keeping appliances with rechargeable batteries take much electric?I have a rechargeable electric saw which I leave on "Trickle charge" all the time......?? Ian

No they dont use much. When they are charging the current slowly goes down as they charge up until they are fully charged, then all the charger is using is the small transformer and circuit board which is that small.
They do say though leaving batteries on charge all the time can shorten their lives. It should say in the instruction book0
