can i cancel car insurance and go via quidco?

Hi ya,

I've currently discovered the quidco cashback site and hoping to save money for me and my husband. We both have car insurances so i was wondering if i cancel them and look for an alternative insurer or go back with the same one but via quidco, will we qualify for cashback or will it be a waste of time?

Thanks in advance

If you cancel a policy mid term you will lose the NCB you have accrued so far. Also its very likely you will have to pay cancellation fees. You have to weigh up the costs of cancelling and loss of NCB against the saving you will make.
Unless you are going to save alot by cancelling now its probably worth waiting until renewal time.
