Internetcamerasdirect.com - be wary

Be very careful when buying a camera from Internetcamerasdirect.com, the price you actually pay isn't what is shown on the website and the delivery estimates are a total fabrication.

I ordered a Kodak 7530 digital camera for £109 but was slightly amazed when the price at the checkout was £110.50 (I did put a note on the order but have had no reply from them about this or anything else).

The order time stated was 2 - 8 days. However when reviewing my order today it showed that they were awaiting shipment from their supplier for the week beginning 14th October. I ordered the camera on 14th September, so I am not sure where the 2 - 8 days delivery timings come from ? This camaera is still shown with this delivery time on the website.

When I tried to send a fax through, as there is no contact telephone number, it failed twice. Thus I should have bowed to my initial suspictions of not using websites where there is no contact telephone numbers shown! Benefit of hindsight? I have now cancelled the order, but of course they have taken the money from my credit card. Be very wary of using them.
