Can anyone help me? I am trying to download the PS2 Eyetoy driver onto my PC so that I can use as a Webcam, but I am having difficulty. I am using the link in Woos thread here. Being a complete techie phobe, I am getting nowhere! Any idiot proof guides out there? I am running Windows XP.
Thanks

Click on the appropriate Inf link on http://www.ionstorm.co.uk/files/sairuk/index.shtml. Internet Explorer pops up a File Download prompt. Click Save, which pops up a Save As window. Click Desktop on the left hand save and click Save. This saves the file (either 31eyetoy.zip or 30eyetoy.zip) to your Desktop.
The next step is to extract the files in the .zip file you've just downloaded. Go to your Desktop and double click the file. Under Folder Tasks on the left hand side, click Extract all files. This starts up the Extraction Wizard. Click Next and for the folder to extract the files to, type in C:\temp, click Next and then Finish. That completes step 1 of the installation guide.
For step 3, where the Found New Hardware Wizard is asking for the location to search, either Browse to the location of the extracted files (C:\temp\31 eyetoy drivers or C:\temp\30 eyetoy drivers) or type in one of those locations.0 -
Thanks Chippy - but I forgot to say, that I am as thick as two short planks and am stuck on Step 3, "Found New Hardware Wizard". Will ask Mr Frizz to see if he knows.
Thanks again!Only 5% of those who can give blood, actually do!
