Not quite the same but a while ago I was in Sainsbury's and saw a woman pick up two 4 pintas of Sainsbury's own brand milk. I stopped her and asked her if she had seen the offer of 2 Cravendale 4 pintas for £2, which worked out a lot cheaper than the Sainsbury's milk. She hadn't, and was very grateful as she put her original bottles back, and it made me feel good too!
What made it especially good was the fact that she had asked a shop assistant to pass her the first bottles and he stood and watched as she put them back for the Cravendale. I don't know why he hadn't told her of the offer. I always told customers about any deals that they hadn't noticed when I worked in Woolworths!

At one time I kept getting coupons for a free packet of Always but it was for the thick ones which I didn't want.
I got them anyway and then took all six packets to the local Women's Aid and they were really pleased.
