NICEIC or ECA ?

Hi, I'm after some advice on the thorny subject of picking an electrician! I have taken three quotes for a complete rewire of a 5 bed house. Two are similar, one is about 20% cheaper than the other two. All the guys seemed great so I guess it comes down to personal preference and checking out trade body registrations etc.

Here's my question. two of the electricians are NICEIC registered and the other is ECA registered.Does one body exceed the other? Are they essentially the same? I was told to look for NICEIC but would appreciate anyones thoughts/opinions....

Theres nothing realy to choose between them accept the ECA garuntee is free and last six years the NICEIC does not. Workmanship will be both to an acceptable standard i work under both governing bodies - and allways recommend mt domestic clients to go with the ECA garuntee its far better than having to pay the NICEIC for theres.
