Request CCA for overdraft?

Options
I have been having trouble with a DCA trying to collect money for an old overdraft I had with Lloyds TSB. They (and Lloyds) are repeatedly ignoring my requests for information with regards to the amount 'owed'. Would it be worth my while requesting a copy of the CCA to see if they can produce a copy in time? Or does this 'approach' not apply to overdrafts?Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You would not be able to apply for a CCA for an overdraft. If you are disputing the amount owed for the debt, I would write a subject access request (SAR) to Lloyds TSB. The legally have 40 days to respond to your query.

There were a few recent example of template letters for this - i'll go look for them. The link i used to put up was to another forum and i didn't realise you had to join to see the letter.

You need to obtain all the past six years statements . You can then add up all the charges ready for a refund claim !

Thanks for the information guys, appreciate it.

Quick question, what exactly is a 'subject access request (SAR)'?

You have the right to access information that organisations hold about you. Asking them for your information is known as making a ‘subject access request’.

There is a £10 fee you will need to send with this though.
