Sky+ reconditioned boxes?

I an having huge problems with Sky regarding a Sky+ package I purchased at Xmas. Since December I have had their engineer visit my house 6 times to replace the box cos it switches itself off during a programme and takes forever to come back on. I have learnt from a friend that Sky are hoodwinking people into buying these packages but are installing reconditioned boxes that are very poor quality (dont I know it). After the box failed a few weeks ago I contacted Sky (call centre in India) and was assured the box would be replaced with a brand new box. The engineer visited and told my wife the systmes were down and he hadnt received the full details for the job but he would put the new box in - when I returned from work I discovered it was just another reconditioned box!! Since then it has taken 1 week to break down again. Last nite I went ballistic on the phone to them after being told I had purchased a reconditioned package - this is lies. I bought a new Sky+ package that was advertised. I asked them to point out where it mentioned reconditioned - they couldnt and mumbled about "its in the contract" - I have reviewed the contract and there is no mention of this. Surely this is false advertising by Sky?
Anyway I have been assured (yet again) that an engineer will be calling with a brand new box - this time I will be there when he arrives
