ooooooooh, the cakes went down really well!!! The head of service said she is going to add 'make cakes for everyone once a week, we'll pay you' to my job description! :rotfl:

The flapjacks which went a bit wrong and then I made them into chocolate flapjack balls were really popular!!!!

    Hello all!!!!
Good news in the Bunny Warren today-got my first lot of working tax credits/child tax credits and was a v good girl and transferred the rent money straight away into flexi-save account. I have to pay in advance (paid 6months already out of OH savings-money of course which is mine)so now need to save up for payments in Nov. all this because I have adverse credit of course...

Anyhoo, had a bit left over and bought myself a dining table off eBay for £229 which I am chuffed about. It's being delivered on Thursday! Can't wait!

Not so good though, I have to take poorly cat (the one with diabetes) to the vets tomorrow-he has rapidly gone down hill and now smells very bad-I personally think his kidneys have packed it in so I fear for the worst. Im not going to get upset quite yet...

I will post my SOA I think because it's very close and I wouldnt mind so imput...

Keren, you know what I think hunny. He needs to be twunted upside the heed.

Ironing tonight (god, I lead an excititng life huh??)

Yes, it's Turkey. Bless him. He's never really taken well to the diabetes treatment. He won't eat the food and is DEAD skinny. We've had him for 11 years and well, he's a lovely cat.

I really wish I could have a cat but current SOA doesnt have much room for that...

Oh, also just traded in my clubcard vouchers for 3 tickets to Drayton Manor for next week to take Joe for his birthday. Very money saving! Tickets would have cost us £73 for the day! !!!!!!?!?!?!

Looking forward to it-can't believe my baby is going to be 3!

Bunny :grouphug: Good luck with Turkey the cat. My old cat Ugli was helped to rainbow bridge by the vet. She was 18 and in the final six months went from a fiesty lady cat (well groomed), to a ragamuffin trampy cat. Only time she bit or hissed was when she was being brushed and that didn't stop the tangles forming.

Keren glad the cakes turned out nice and the near miss (flapjack) was the hit of the day... well done for standing up to OH about food.

I'm so mad with mine that I worked out my 'single' budget. (Can I really buy birthday and Christmas presents as well as clothes with a cash surplus of... £2 a month:confused:) He really hasn't changed much and is even more secretive than before. He won some money on the lottery and I would have suggested to him that he pay half off his debt and he keep the rest (for himself), but no, he tells me when most of it has gone and he's onto his last £20 that he'll treat us to a takeaway. I doubt it'll come to me kicking his sorry !!! out but ... I'm just so  with him at the moment
