Kittens very cute, my daughters cat was nursing 13, last year. Her own and a neighbour's kittens as the mother disappeared, after the family had to move (naval eviction long story). Did well too!

Yes it is, but am stopping off at brother's in Bath, then going on from there. We will split the driving, so not too bad on that front. The site is lovely and quiet and only 10 mins away from her. I can't wait, really miss her. We have talked on phone about three times today.
We will travel back the same way and stop at my brothers for a barbecue on way back, so have it all sorted.

Hi keren, how did last night go?

    hmmmmmmmmmmm.............

    split into 3 sections really.

Pre-going out - OH became a real pain and I ended up calmly but firmly spelling out some home truths about our lack of 'togetherness' as a couple with a few tears of frustration involved on my part. These points all got promptly turned around to try to make me feel guilty and the bad person - which I also calmly and quietly pointed out. OH went into bedroom for a few minutes and had obviously had a think and kind of improved (kind of)

Going out - we went to the pub at the end of the road - his decision  - I said yes to keep things simple, but got lots of 'but what do you want to do' beforehand - when I said, pub is fine, lots of 'yes, but what do you want to do?' Grrr. OH was ok in the pub.

Back home - OH had a bit of a sulk. We came back and he asked if I wanted a takeaway - I said not - I'd had 3 pints of cider and felt full and I said that I was ok. I asked him the same and he said no. 15 minutes later, he asked what snacks he could eat. I said there was whatever he could find in the fridge or the cut offs tub of cakes etc. I'd said before we went out I wasn't going to cook when we got back in (which was after 11).

He said 'No, I want something savoury - like a kebab' I said he could have got something delivered and I got the snappy answer back 'well, I wasn't going to eat on my own, was I'.

He then sat in silence. I didn't make anything and I didn't phone for a takeaway for us just so he could have what he'd wanted all along.

    He went hungry. :p
