OK, thx everyone for the positive feedback, I'll give it a go.:j
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional

i am a moderator for my local freecycle group, having been a user for 18 months, we try and approve all messages and requests to join asap. its possible that your area only has one moderator (we have 3)

re - the not receiving approval for acceptance into the group.... i would suggest tryint to contact the group owner, my local groups owner has an address at the bottom of the daily digest.
smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to.... ;)

hi, hope no one minds me asking a question here but noticed cinders2001 was a moderator for freecycle.

i have attempted to join my local group 3 times in the last 6 months but never get any acknowledgement of any kind, either to say yes or no. have you got any advice for me as i would love to join

Hi Patchy, Can you tell me the are you are trying to join freecycle?
You can PM me the info if you want to keep in private.
I will then go onto the Moderators group for Freecycle and see if we can route out the Local Mod for you.

Also on the bottom of your Freecycle Homepage there should be a set of email addresses. Have you had a go at them?

Hi, I think I joined my local onesome time ago, but there was hardly anyone on it. I wanted to join where my OH lives as I'm up there most weekends, but was put off by some of the q's, as I don't live or work there, but I ma there frequently so can bring stuff with me/pick stuff up. Has anyone done this?

i've joined 4 freecycle groups, three of which are within 60 miles of my house and 1 near my sister (670 miles away from me) coz she doesn't have access to the internet. I didn't have any problems.

I should remember to check my mail everyday though, or just watch the messages as I post on MSE - this weekend I missed a nintendo wii someone was giving away!!

I joined about 12 months ago and am a member of 2 local sites, got rid of lots of unwanted items, met lots of nice people and have gained a few items, ie brand new vinyl floor covering for the bathroom, collected tiles from 2 different locations to give me enought to tile a porch floor, laminate flooring to do our hall and 2 drums I can use as water butts. I am extremely happy with the service and would recommend it to others.
