i brought a buggy from argos about 3 months ago but every now and again the brakes just stick it happened on the weekend while i was crossing the road so have decided i should return it. i would say it was faulty as the brakes are not ment to do this but was wondering what you lot though as i dont want to struggle up to the store (20miles away) to be told they wouldnt be able to do anything.

Probably best to give them a call first. What make/model is it? The one we've got is the aria travel system, not bad overall, the brakes don't 'stick' as such but sometimes you got to give it a real yank to get it going!0

I would write to head office and exaplin the problem and that you either want a replacement or refund. the sales of good act states goods sold must be of satisfactory quality and fit for their purpose. now if a buggys brakes dont work then it doesnt comply to eitherWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

temporarily yes, until the warranty runs out so then your screwed when it gets worseWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
why should it get worse, brakes need to be maintained, yes even on a buggy.0

Emweaver,in your first post you recommend writing to the head office,in your second you refer to a warranty. If the warranty existed, you would just take it back to the shop, wouldn't you.0
