    Most banks do chage for replacement bank statements unless your statement was lost or damaged.
    But like everyone else said, try and get all the copies under DPA.

    Some years ago I worked for LLoyds TSB - it was my job to retrieve old statements using a microfiche system, print them and send them to customers - at a charge of £5 per copy. I remember one bill totaling £450! This was for a solicitor handling the estate of an elderly lady. I seem to remember there was to be government legislation to limit the amount at £10 total, regardless of the number of copies. I don't know if that happened, as I left sometime in 2000; either way, I do know it is negotiable....as are those dreadful letters sent out to inform you when you're overdrawn.

    Well done Joood, you are very right.
    I now recall some kind of legislation on this issue too now, sometime ago this came into force I do believe.
    Contact your local CAB office to see if this applies.
