Train / coach, Northampton to London return
Hi All,
We've got friends up from cornwall this coming weekend who have never visited London before  so thought we'd take them to see the sights then for dinner, drinks etc, going to be an expensive day so need to find the cheapest way to get there by train / coach.
4 adults, Northampton to London, sat or sun, earlyish start and a late train back.
Any suggestions gratefully received!
Thanks

Drive in on Sunday and stay sober, parking is free then and it'll work out cheaper than taking the train
Trains may be effected by engineering so it's worth checking before leaving.0 -
I'd suggest getting the train. Use London Midland and get an Off Peak Travelcard "GroupSave" ticket. Just pay for 2 people but 4 can travel.
Cost £53.20.0 -
have you tried Megabus? Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

Thanks for your replies!
sober is not an option! :rotfl: hehe, but seriously, I don't want to be designated driver, tired with 3 drunk people on the 60 mile drive home.
Didn't realise the group save deal was valid from northampton so will check that out at lunch time, thanks very much :j
Had a look at Megabus but it doesn't come to Northampton unfortunatelybut thank you for the heads up.
