Desktop help needed

Sorry its me again..

I have just noticed that the digital clock that used to always show on the right hand bottom of my screen has disappeared...

I have tried everything I can think of to get it back, but no doubt there will be someone out there who just 'knows'... I would be very grateful if anyone can help as I have no clock in my office and have only just realised how much I need it!

    right click on task bar select properties, box at bottom "show the clock"
    click here to achieve nothing!
