Someone to drive my car

Basically I need someone to drive my car (with my wife and kids in it) about 35 miles round the M25 from my house to Gatwick Airport train station.

This is this Friday about 3pm. I will then get off the train, park the care and go off on holiday. I will drive it back home.

Has anyone heard of any company offering such a service?

What about that mini scooter type service where they put their little fold up scooter in your boot and then drive your car?
    .....

  • what about those adverts on toilet doors for blokes who drive your car home when you've been out drinking? I think they turn up on a little fold up bike or something, stick it in your boot, drive you wherever, then away they go on their bike.

No idea where you find them, as I said, I've only ever seen them advertising on the doors of pub toilets :)

I'm sure the blokes who advertise on the back of toilet doors can offer a different kind of ride..........

Hmm, found one in my area.

They quote £77 for what is a 20 mile journey (mine is 35 miles+!), which seems pretty steep to me.

Not sure if it would be cheaper in the day, have filled in a quote request.

Yeah..it's called asking a friend a favour. Surely you can get a mate to do this?

Get your wife and kids to get the train as its cheaper than Gatwick parking!
Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!

Have you got quotes for a taxi to and from the airport? Your idea sounds like it ought to be cheaper, but remember than on top of what you pay the driver you'd also be paying for petrol yourself and then more for parking.

Taxi or PT - both of which will work out cheaper than paying a company to drive your car for you.
