ive just recieved a letter from national tyres and autocare.
im not sure if they will be sending this to all thier customers or if its just to customers who rarely use them?

anyway it has a few offers on it that may be of interest.
theres a multi buy offer on premium brand tyres for performance tyres.
and theres a buy one get one free on avon and barum tyres.
10% off exhausts
10% off brake pads and discs
10% off batteries
20% off steering and suspension components
50% off tracking (making it £11)
and £5 off any oil and filter change.

im sure you could probably haggle these discounts without the vouchers anyway, but for tose who dont like to haggle you may get one of these letters through the post soon.

You might find a better deal on tyres going through 'tyre-shopper', they use National Tyres to fit the them.

thank you. im aware of online tyre retailer,i just thought i would put this up so others can expect a similar letter and to show what discounts are available on the high street.
my last tyres i got via black circles.
however i do need another 2 shortly so i will be checking all online and high street retailers.

    I'd put money on it.

Last time I had an oil change they put down on the tyre inspection a depth of tread on our spare wheel, I asked how they'd got it when there is no spare on the car :)

These offers are to the end of November.

Are they any good at tracking? Am just waiting for my steering rack to be delivered so I can replace the rack and tie-rod ends - just need to swap them out, make a best guess at tracking and then drive somewhere and get it done properly.

They don't have any vouchers for tracking online. Also perhaps they would accept tesco clubcard deals vouchers that you order online along with the discounts.

They always do this once yove had anything in NT-thats why they ask for your address.
  • I've always found Costco to be the cheapest tyre supplier and fitter, by quite a bit in some cases.

Unfortunately they do not check tracking, so you may end up with knackered tyres sooner rather than later.

But if you have access to Costco, their tyre prices are rarely beaten, unfortunately they only stock michellin
