I think that I need to get a wireless bridge. I've got a PC on one corner of the house and a wireless router on the other, but they don't reach. Is it a wireless bridge that I need to get, and if so, what's the best price. ebuyer are around £35, which seems steep compared to the price of the wireless router.

Unless you live in a mansion, they should reach. Personally I would get a better range router!

I've had three, and none worked fully. It's an average 4 bedroomed house, but it it does go through two bathrooms and about four walls. It is connecting now with different frivers, but only intermittently at two out of five bars. Would a better antenna do the trick?

Could do - wireless is still a bit of a black art.

I fitted a 5Db gain aerial to my Netgear Router to improve the signal to one room in the house.

Maplins also do some higher gain aerial

As for repeaters / bridge look at - it's compatible with any wireless routers (many other manufactuers are specific to their make and will only work with certain models.)
