norwich to portsmouth whats the cheapest way coach or train

I'll work on it. One option is that there used to be a 747 bus service to Brighton - BUT it was tailored to the airport stops and was never really cheap.
I think an advanced single/return on National Express Railways Anglia to London is available for £12 if booked at least 48 hours in advance. (just checked 9th June as a test) and trains available for departure after 8.30 am)
Southwest Trains then want £25.50 one way!!!
Date and times would help.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

National Express will do a coach on that same day as a 'fun fare' from London Victoria Coach Station to Portsmouth for £5.
Say £5 for transfer by bus/Underground
£12 to London
£5 from London
£22 all in -Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

Also on June 9th.....
Megabus from Victoria to Pompey £1 at 15.30 or the Megatrain at £6 lots of times between 9am & 9pm from Waterloo.
Still leaves you getting from Norwich to London, so maybe combine with one of the ideas above? :j:D:beer::eek::A:p:rotfl::cool::):(:T0 -

That is victoria coach station. Are you taking baggage? Tube to coach station is a 5-10 minute walk.
You did ask for the cheapest way - have a squint on http://www.liftshare.org/uk/comstart.asp as there may be someone doing the trip.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!
