Options
Hi,

My sister wants to open an Ing Savings account but she has a very bad crediy history - I mean this by defaults and CCJ's. Is it still possible to open up an account with Ing?

Thanks

A lot of people moved their saving from ING to ICICI or Icesave because the interest rates were better. I did.

If she did then ING would have twice as many savers as they do presently :j

I too have some savings with ING, but I will be moving them very soon - they used to have the best rate, now they are one of the worst. I too fancy ICESAVE,

I have loved banking with ING, its how an INTERNET bank should be run. Sadly their rates are dropping and sadly my custom is in the process of moving.

December 2006 was the month that saw my savings move away from ING Direct because their interest rates were dire.

They seem to offer a competitive introductry offer on their savings account nowadays.

If you can fog a mirror you'll get an ING savings account.

This is the sad thing. Why do we need to have a credit check to open a savings account?

You don't. It's an ID enquiry/verification check and, because it's classed as an 'unrecorded enquiry', the search is not seen by other providers when searching your file.

YorkshireBoy, Thanks - At least someone was good enough to a simple question.
