Problem with fiat punto

Ive got a fiat punto on rental from enterprise but this morning the car wouldnt start, a light came on in the shape of an engine, anyone got an idea what the problem could be, i also noticed a ticking sound as i was trying to turn the engine on

    That light indicates an electronic fault with the engine management system, for which the Fiat main dealer gizmo is required. You'll need to contact the rental company to tow it away and replace it.

    Yeh ive called them and a breakdown vehicle is on its way, i was worried that it was something i had done, i was thinking of why it wouldnt start all day and i was coming up with things like the radio left on which ran the battery down, ran out of petrol

    as said earlier its an engine management problem ,had the same thing happen a few months ago luckily the warranty picked up the bill.
