I've worked for loads of people like this and I know where you are coming from!
I think the idea of suggesting a meeting to discuss workloads would be beneficial in lots of ways....make it a pilot meeting and then push for it to be regular....say ot could be good for morale/ efficiency etc...sad thing is that this guy sounds like he needs to be shown how to be a good boss.
Confrontation will end in tears and upset and at best a feeling of "why didn't you say so earlier?" at worst it could be terminal.
Suggest the softer approaches first and take it from there.For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -
