Hi
I'm going to change around 11 windows in my house and have had vairous quotes from local as well as large companies and am a bit stuck now as i've liked the look of either the kommerling brand or eurocell brand. It does not seem like there is much difference in price with the 2 so was hopeing someone who knows about the two products give me some pointers as to which one to choose.
Thanks
A

get the detail right. On the face of it, I am sure both windows look alike (most do) but often sales people are lazy, they dont ask you enough questions.
How secuity concious are you (ask about polices secured by design www.sbd.org )
How much energy do you want to save (dg saves 50% against single glazing, but GOOD energy efficient windows save 74% , even all of it in the case of A rated products try www.bfrc.org or www.est.org
Is reliability important, have the windows been tested independently by the BBA, british board of agreement www.bba.org who endurance test products to simulate 20 years operational life
what type of PVCu is it, the better ones have changed to lead free, using calcium organic stabalisers inplace of lead (but not all)
see how they answer these questions then if you're still stuck send me a pm
good luck
sashmanBuying quality goods which last, should be an investment that saves money. :T
Buying cheap products which fail, wastes money and costs twice as much in the long run. :mad:0 -
