tax credits question

ive just done my renewal over the phone. Really quick and easy!
My question is, i started work in september so on my p60 its says ive earned £2871.24.
But on my tax credit reward sheet it says its based on me earning £3105.56.
Will i get the rest of the money payed to me? i no its not a lot but all helps!(ha ha) And does this mean i wont get an over payment prob?
thanks

I doubt there will be a difference anyway. I would assume on a salary that low that you would be entitled to full tax credits regardless. I dont think you're at the lower earnings limit where it begins to taper off.

I may be wrong, but i doubt there will be a difference.

  • You are under the 1st income threshold so there will be no underpayment I am afraid. Your payments for the coming year will income a little though as the WTC rates have increased.

i dont get that, tax cred worked my tax cred out based on me earning over £3000 for last year and i only earned £2800, so y shouldnt there be under payment?

Because there's bands of wages that equal an amount that your entitled to, both £2800 and £3000 must be in the same band :)
