Do something different (tell us what!)I've selected "do something different" because I think "dinner" is too formal and committing but some people might need to eat and just bar drinks doesn't allow for that. So.... what about a place that has food and you can get a drink too?
Weatherspoons pubs is one possibility... I don't know any of them so perhaps someone could say which is the nicest?
The Prince of Wales
81–83 St Mary Street, Cardiff
The Central Bar
39 Windsor Place, Cardiff
The Ivor Davies
243–249 Cowbridge Road East, Cardiff
The Great Western
64 St Mary Street, Cardiff
The Crockerton
Greyfriars Road, Cardiff
The Gatekeeper
9–10 Westgate Street, Cardiff
Or some activity based thing... bowling or something?Torgwen.....................

Meet up in a bar for drinksGood idea Fran - most pubs do eats but Wetherspoons are pretty good value and they do tea coffee etc as well as soft drinks if anyone has to drive or doesn't want to drink for any other reason.
The Prince of Wales, The Great Western and The Gatekeeper are probably going to be the easiest to find for people visiting Cardiff as they are closest to the bus and train stations.0 -
Go for dinnerFran that sounds half tidy to me. Wetherspoons do a curry night on a Thursday too. right up my street
I'll be there................... keep me informed.0 -
Go for dinnerHi
So what shall we do now then? Shall we decide on a date and place based on both polls?
Gatekeeper is fine by me!0 -
Do something different (tell us what!)Wetherspoons food would be fine by me.
They've got some promo deals on, but no idea what as the PDF on their website didn't seem to say!
How rubbish is that!
Curry is good though.
Food should be: cheap, good, hot and plentiful.
I've got no intentions on going clubbing after ... no matter how many of you think it's a great idea.0 -
