Silver marks on china

Hello,
First time of posting, so apologies if this has been asked before. I have a set of stoneware china which is white shiny glazed in the centre with a duller cream rim. Prefectly good condition apart from the fact it is covered with "silver" marks from cutlery. Any ideas how I can remove these marks and get it back to original condition? I wash the china in the dishwasher so not sure if this has damaged the surface of the glaze, although it says dishwasher safe. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any mildly abrasive cleaner should do the job.

Try a paste of water and bicarb, and if that doesn't do the trick see if you can get hold of some Barkeeper's Friend.

try gently rubbing toothpaste on it, should work on glazed surfaces
