Loaded Kaspersky to Dell laptop - stopped some other programs loading - said virus data base was corrupted?? Warning report no.24??
Laptop fitted with firewall - should I turn this off? Also has trial version of Norton Anti Virus - would this affect it?
When I removed Kaspersky program, all ok again?
Any help would be appreciated chaps. Thanks

Don't try to install 2 different AC products.
Bin NAV and go with Kaspersky - it's far better.

I use Kaspersky and can highly recommend it. It finds some adware as well as viruses and is very comprehensive.
You can have 2 AVs installed on your system as long as only one of them runs at startup.
Uninstall Kasperksy, use msconfig to disable NAV from the startup tab, and reinstall Kaspersky.
Tell us if you still have a problem.Filiss0 -
Another vote for Kaspersky AV here!
Been using it for more than two years now with no problems.
I received 30% discount on my renewal price.0
