find me a job lot of dvd's that sold for 99p, and I'll pay you the difference myself!!!

Seriously, if you list it with a title like "Bulk job lot of dvds from personal dvd collection - all listed" then list each DVD in the description, I can guarantee you will have double figure watchers within a day or two, and the bidding will go silly in the last hour or two. There are a LOT of people buying DVD job lots.

    deal :p

seriously, what would be better to list as posting ?

a price e.g. 10 via courier or say buyer arranges ?

Offer both - many resellers will travel to collect, but the total packaged weight will be about 9kg - so have a look at some of the courier threads around here to get an idea of postage. For Job Lots of that amount you can quite happily charge £12.50-£15 which will allow for packaging, time & effort to arrange the courier etc.

Also, set your buyer requiements to UK only, and I'd suggest selecting "bidder must have Paypal account"

I've sold a fair few job lots of non-selling lines myself - always from an anonymous selling account so potential buyers were not aware who I was, and why I was selling ;)

  • I sold absolutely loads of my DVDs at bootsale. £5 or so entrance fee and a morning's work to get rid. Made more than I would have by selling them on Ebay. Worth considering if you've got the time.

You need to decide what is more important, the money or the space.

Probably the best way to sell them is individually, but it will probably take time (as you have found).

    1. You can list them individually on Amazon or Play at a fixed price (where there is no listing fee but higher FVF than ebay), or as a fixed or auction price on ebay.

    2. List them as a job lot on eBay

    3. Go to a boot sale and sell whatever you can (individually or as lots)

    4. Donate to a charity shop?

    5. Dump them in a bin/refuse site.

A friend of mine who wanted rid of items and urgently needed more space recently combined 3 & 5 above. i.e. went to a car boot sale in the morning and what didn't sell was dumped at the local refuse collection site on the way home.
