Nice simple intuitive remote for the telly, DVD and digibox. Any recommendations?

I've got one of the LCD touchscreen remotes that Maplin sell, and find it really easy to programme and use.

It's not quite the same as the current model which they sell for £20 on sale at the moment, but it's very similar.
  • Another thumbs up for the Logitech Harmony range. The 525 can be bought for £40 new and will blow any of the cheaper models out of the water. You set it up online choosing your equipment from Logitech's vast database, so no more ringing up or searching for obscure codes or trying various codes only to find some functions don't appear on your new remote. Okay, if you have a learning model, you can point your old remote at it and it will work but for ease of setup and use, I would recommend the Harmony range everytime. Obviously the more you spend, the more features you get. I have a 525 for the bedroom and a One for the livingroom. Don't forget ebay, there should be plenty of bargain 5, 6 and 7 series remotes on there. The 8 series, One and 1000 are more expensive due to additional features like colour screens, touchscreen, RF and so on but essentially the cheaper models use the same software and are just as good.
