Tell me about Biodiesel please!

it just really annoys me as any search i do takes me to http://www.biodieselfillingstations.co.uk/outlets.htm which is a total crap site, i tried this a few months ago also and its all buy in bulk fuel and hardly anyone got back to me, all the weblinks are for searchbots, totally useless you would think with the rise in diesel costs the sellers would want to throw together a decent website, useless no info on it at all

I get mine from a place in Thatcham (Berkshire). The trouble is the place is a small one in an industrial unit (i.e. not a multinational) and it’s really difficult to get any at them moment. The owner (who often mans the place’s single pump himself) was telling me that he simply can’t keep up with demand. He’s trying to increase production but is struggling.

I’ve not been able to get any for a week. Of course, at £1.05 a litre it is VERY attractive. Hopefully he’ll be able to increase his operation’s output soon and provide a more stable supply.

you can also buy diesel fuel in bulk at £1.05/litre from almost any fuel supplier, we get ours from Texaco... look in your yellow pages for a local heating oil supplier and I bet that when you call them they sell road diesel in bulk too.

we put ours in a 1400L tank we got from www.commercialfuelsolutions.co.uk it cost about £900 including VAT and came with a pump and meets all the regulations.

we have had ours two months and already saved over £90, we reckon the tank will pay for itself in less than a year, we thought about gettting a larger one and suppling the neigbours also
