i didn't realise that places like homebase did topsoil. are the bags big?

I always plant all my (potted) veg in general purpose compost....shouldn't I be?! That then gets recycled onto the garden beds at the end of each planting season. I do all my veg in pots....no weeding!! YAYAYAYAY!Good Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!

Homebase top soil is quite good for mixing with other ingredients to make potting compost. 4x 25 litre bags for £10 (or £9 on their next 10% weekend) However, if you need a lot for outdoor use, consider getting a tonne bag delivered from a proper garden supplier.0 -

Small compost bag size It was ideal for me as I didn't need too many and they are easy to carry! Probably more economical ways of buying it if you needs lots though but 4 bags for a tenner.love the dea of the mole hill tops.
