Halifax CC first statement question

Options
Hello,
I recently got a 0% 15 month BT with halifax and transfer a balance of £6000. The fee is therefore £180 and added to the money due.
I set up a direct debit to ensure I always pay for the minimum amount during the BT free period. I assume that the first will be 2%+fee = £300?
Anyway, my main question is: when I go online, I don't have statement yet (and haven't received one). I see my account summary as this:
Current balance £ 6,180.00
Next payment due date 27th May 2008
Date last payment received
Available credit £220.00
Minimum payment required £0.00
Amount of last payment received
Credit limit £6,400

Now, does this mean that I should make a first payment before my first statement or will I receive a statement just a few days before my payment is due?
Thanks!

The first statement is generally delayed with Halifax.

You'll receive your statement around 3 weeks before payment is due to be collected...probably early June for a June 27th payment due date.

    The minimum payment will be £6,180 x 2% = £123.60

You should get the statement way ahead of the payment date.
It might be worth a phone call to them to see what is going on.
They will also advise what your minimum paymwnt should be.

No. There's nothing to worry about. Although the next payment due date shown online is
27 May 2008, your first repayment is not actually due until 27 June 2008. Your statement will arrive in plenty of time ;)
People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.
