Just to mention I have had a cheese that went through at the amazing price of £1.19 as per SEL
, not sure which of the varieties, think it was coloured cheddar, had 1.24 on pack, bought another with it think it was wensleydale, same but went as 1.24 R&R
.
Excellent item to buy R&R if you have a mouse infestation problem and need some spare cheese for the mousetraps, not that I have this problem but just if anyone did then it would be a valid reason, for continually coming to the store for the same R&R item ! :rotfl: Could even sell the stuff to local councils pest control team ! :rotfl:Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.
EVERY LITTLE EXCUSE HELPS in trying to get out of the R&R policy when the law has been broken, especially on high value items.

Got more finest bacon - Honey Sweetcure - 4 packs R&R no problem. It was the only one at the lower SEL now - all the other finest were at £2.48 so that looks like the last batch of that offer.
Also more cheese SEL £1.19 pack £1.24 - got 2 Caerphilly - R&R no problem but they did ask why I didn't get 3 and I said I didn't want 3 as we wouldn't eat them. They said I could have frozen it so I played daft. CS very pleasant.
Were two more yellow labels in the meat dept with price per kilo offers that had expired on 29/10 so I didn't try to get any. Both were on beef joints.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

i got two british pork leg joints SEL 3.38kg labeled at 3.68kg, these were on the end of isle where the good offers go, and i thought it was a good offer not sure that CS lady agreed thou, it took some explaining to her, i took her and showed her, she agreed i had been overcharged, then she asked me how much the difference would be, i said i didn't know, told her of the R&R policy , so did get a refund in the end.Another day another R&R

SEL £99.47 - SCAN £99.47
Don't know why you have to pay 50p more for the pink version?
Unless the pink version is over priced on the SEL.
can anyone confirm this?
I will be taking a run to my local tescos if someone has success with this elsewhere0 -
Check the freezers for Birdseye Reduced to Clear items - Weightwatchers chicken hotpot and chicken somethingelse with chilli. Both had yellow £1.74 prices reduced to 20p(only the former were left). Took the remaining 10(ready meals not my usual thing, but for 20p...)but they went through till @£1.18 each, so personable CS informed me they would be free. Ditto the usual lemon/garlic roast in bag chickens, £2.99 SEL, £3.99 pack and till. Saw another 20pRTC sticker(but no stock)for 800g Aunt Bessie?family-sized steak pie.

Got double gloucester cheese refunded (sel 1.19 scanned 1.24) today, but cs tried to give me 5p difference first.
picked up 3 bags of parsnips sel 42p, checked on in store scanner 84p, but went through til at 42p. Booo! good job wanted parsnips anyway.
No cd's today (well, none I hadn't already got last week anyway!)`Save a little money each month, and at the end of the year, you'll be suprised at how little you have.

In ours there were 2 SEL prices for this - one at £1.80/kg and one for £2.14/kg. All of the chickens that had the £2.14/kg price on had extra stickers over the barcode with revised labels at £1.80/kg - so I guess they spotted this one first!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
