You should phone your local mental hospitals and ask if they've had anyone escape recently.

Haha! No, I'm only jesting (well, maybe). Glad to hear you've sold and at a price you're happy with - most people would be happy with just one of those in the current market, so you should consider yourself extremely lucky!

Consider it sold when it's all done and dusted. Best of luck!

Good luck to you I hope it all goes well. Likewise I have just had an acceptable offer on my house after being on the market for just over 6 weeks. It was starting to drag and we thought it was going on forever they were only the second viewers. So if you are selling I would say stay positive there are always people that want to or need to move.:DCompetition wins - 09/03 - £500 ELC Vouchers 11/04 - Lush Goodies 21/04 - Gillette Fusion Gift Pack 22/05 - Mirrors DVD 29/05 - Return Flights to London & £500 29/05 - £50 Homebase Gift Vouchers 20/09 - Remote Control Helicopter 28/09 - £225 Bingo Win 05/10 £25 Photobox Vouchers 16/09 £90 Cash 30/11 £29 Cash 03/01 £20 03/04 Fifa Football :T0

Nice to see this thread! (as someone who has had their house on the market 5 weeks with only one viewing!)
I am new to this site and am intrigued at how addictive it is......but it does seem to have an awful lot of posters who are quick to shoot down and insult people with genuine concerns......how can these people be so sure of the future?? .... or is it a vocal mass who would gain the most from a crash who are quickest to post these replies?
I don't know..... but I think I will wean myself off the site before I convince myself that houses will be worth less than a tank of diesel by christmas!!!
Well done on your sale btw!!0 -

Everyone is entitled to their opinions and that's what discussion forums are all about, hence the discussion. If eveyone agreed with each other then it would be a very empty and boring place.

yeah agreed.... but people are still having to get on with their lives and that might include deciding to buy in the current market....that doesn't make them insane and I am sure they are aware they might end up losing money.
Opinions don't have to be expressed in a way that might upset or insult some people do they? Or have I missed the point altogether of this site?0 -
its not sold until its sold. Agree with another poster.
Can you keep us updated as to the progress of the sale? Alot of FTBers have difficulty getting a mortgage now (and rightly so... property is overvalued)...
It aint over till the fat lady sings i say0
