Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.

I did a big shop last night.
Enough food for about a week. £7
Baked beans aren't going up in price.
4 cans of beans and a loaf is about £2.25 and that makes 12 meals!0 -
And baked beans are full of fibre and vitamins! Have to say I eat more than a third of a can per meal though.0

Lol I have 1 or 2 pieces of toast (or a potato) and share a can of beans with OH! Although I suppose with eggs as well a 3rd would be enough!0

For a BIG meal it's: 2 pieces of toast, 1/3rd of a can of beans, 2 scrambled eggs. 38p
That's a big meal? Hardly enough to keep a working man going! 3 slices of toast, full can of beans, 4 rashers of bacon and 2 fried eggs. Now that is a meal!0 -
And a small girl. Very short and about 130-135 pounds.
My official "should be" weight is 100-110 pounds, so we're not talking about somebody who skimps on food either0 -
Beans, beans, the musical fruit.
The more you eat, the more you toot!--

The cost of living going up will hopefully stop all these fat bugg4hs that get in my way in the shops when they're stocking up on multi-buy packs of crisps and gallons of fizzy pop for their fat kids.
This crash might be the secret Govt solution to obesity.0 -
