Hello
I have just downloaded the first letter template "Data Protection" and was wondering if someone could just clarify what is meant in the 2nd paragraph where it reads "I understand that statements on their own are not covered by the Data Protection Act 1998, yet I’m not requesting the statements per se, but the charges, which I’m entitled to by law"
What exactly does "per se" mean???
Sorry in advance if this seems a silly question but i honestly don't know what it means

It means 'by itself'. In this context, you are telling the bank, you are not asking for statements, but a list of charges. If the bank wish to provide that list in the form of statements, that is fine.0 -
