i cant believe anyone would have the bottle to go into someone's house and do that.

Hope it gets fixed to a high standard bookduck.

There is no way they have 14 years experience, me and my dad fitted my ikea kitchen ourselves , first kitchen fit and found it pretty easy , how they can muck it up to that degree is beyond me.

his company had 14 years is a bit misleading, but it is what I was sold. He actually has other people jobbing for the company and they told him it was going well and this was their first job. It took then nearly 2 weeks to get this far too.
GOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time. ;)

omg, bookduck I can't believe the charlatans who did that for you! I'm having a new kitchen being delivered next week and we said 'no thanks' to B&Q for the fitting cos it was almost as much as the kitchen itself. We've got a fitter (a friend of a friend) for about 15% of the cost of B&Q's quote, and now I'm seriously worried about it...
I'm gonna make sure I'm watching him like a hawk, I'll parcel the kids off to Grandma's if I have to. I hope they're going to replace the doors for you - that's unforgivable.

Thanks very much for letting us see the photos -it gives and idea of what to look out for!

That work is disgraceful and the people that did that should not be paid any money and should never be allowed to do any kind of work like that ever again. If they had done that it my house they would be in hospital now lol.

You should also post those pictures on as many websites as possible, to show people the quality of workmanship from that firm- name and shame them!

That is appalling, thanks for the pics. There is absolutly no way at all they were tradesmen of any description, I rather fancy they had never done a kitchen in their lives. I've had a second week apprentice who could do better then that!
However, I am glad to hear the builder is correcting everything and hope it all works out right for you now.

  • I fit kitchens for a living and that is appalling (i'm loathe to call it workmanship) kitchen fitting.Don't think i've ever seen worse. These jokers are not kitchen fitters or any kind of tradespeople at all.Get rid of them.
