LG 22" LCD TV Awful Sound HELP

I have bought LG LCD tv 22" and the audio sound is awful very tinny no depth tried all different combinations to adjust it but to no avail. It was bought in a small independent shop and he had to get it in specially as they do not deal in all sizes, the man tried to ajust it but in the end he said it was because it was a small set. It is something I had never thought of when looking for TV was to check the sound I thought they were all the same. Can anyone HELP PLEASE.

It will be tinny because it is a small set and uses small speakers. Bass needs larger speakers. That's why some stereos come with speakers that have two a side..a large one for the bass and midrange and a small one for the higher range. Its the latter that's in many LCD TVs.

if you are lucky there may be an audio-out point on the back, though you'd probably have to run through an external amplifier and speakers, if you just watch digital tv from an external reciever you may be able to get a scart lead with phono splitter, though, again, you'd need an amp and speakers

If it has a headphone out then you can plug in a pair of computer speakers.

My wife has a Logitech pair of speakers with a separate subwoofer plugged into the headphone socket of her laptop. They sound great! Cost less than £30.
