thank-you for that about tax credits i will most certainly look into that, every little helps.

Yes you should look into it because everyone is entitled to it up to about 60-70k or something like that, someone will correct me but it is a high amount before you are not eligible anyway.

Maybe you can claim back pay for a few years if you have not claimed it at all? Worth a shot?

    Good luck

my 3 year old son has just cracked the screen on the lcd tv, so i now have beautifully coloured stripped lines going down the front!! luckily we have accidental damage cover on contents insurance so i have phoned up to make a claim as it was an accident, but the excess is £100 and my premium will go up by 10% and to top it off, cup final is on tonight

on a positive note i received a letter from tax credits and we will get about £40 a month...

and i have managed to sort a few more things out for the car boot but that will have to go towards xs instead of visa...

nothing to report for today really, as i haven't spent anything but cant wait for tomorrow as its pay day.. horay!!!

also i think i get paid my tax credits tomorrow too as i have managed to go into my overdraft by £42  so if i get paid this it will almost clear it. other than that i will be able to re-budget to see if i can overpay anyone...

good luck all, i'm off to make some cards no as hoping to do a craft fair in a few weeks with a friend, only using up 'stuff' i already have although it is tempting to buy new things to use.. but lets hope it all happens and i make some pennies off it too!

  • Oh I am glad you applied and are eligible for tax credits. What about back pay as I assume you have not been claiming it for the past few years?

oh, i didnt think about that.. we did get it initially when i went back to work, but when i went back full time about 6 months after it stopped.

i will ask though, thanks

as for today, i havent been paid my travel expenses  so i am about £160 down, will only manage to overpay about 80 - 100 i think, so lets hope weather holds out for weekend so i can do a car boot!

i will get it paid at the endof next month so will hopefully be able to pay off more as overpayments next month, but thats not the point! i should have been paid today as it would mean less interest on my visa

will have a proper look at figures and she where i can re-jig to overpay more..
    thanks again all :T

Just been online to check balances and virgin visa balance is now
£2200  , flippin men eh:mad: .. just wait till he gets home and wants a cup of tea, he'll get it cold....

so i've now updates my signature but will pay off
natwest £42 (min payment as 0%)
    loan 1 £140.10
    loan 2 £132.63
virgin 180 definate as just paid online, but hoping to pay another £200 off it when paypal account clears and possibly a bit more from car boot if weather holds out..

oh and the £42 i was overdrwn has gone too as my wages cleared that ;)

so, total definate end figure this month will be £7421.32
but hopefully will be £7221.32 so i feel i have actually paid something off numbers wise!

good luck with your DFW journeys and keep up the good work :T
