Just back from my day out with a friend, managed to only buy a few things, not as good as i'd hoped but better than buying loads! We went out for lunch but were very good and got two meals for £8.00. I think my money saving is rubbing off on her!

  • Got a PS! :p
Have been to B&Q and got a grow bag for 1.28 and some organic tomato plants... apparently (our landlady said) that our terrace is perfect for tomato plants and they had a glut last year, so hopefully will be saving money over the summer on those! And when my spinach gets a bit bigger our salad bills should be right down :D
Well done on everyone else's debt-busting today!!

  • Hello all

Back from nice weekend camping, rained a bit on Friday and Saturday but nice today.
Didn't spend much - took food etc with us - so a great w/e

Hope you all had a good DFW time too. Great news on the boot sale cassey. Trying to summon up the courage to do one, feel sure I'd have a big arrow over my car saying 'newbie'!
    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.

Yorkshire belle, glad you had a nice time camping and that the weather didn't get you down. I don't think i'd be brave enough to go camping again. Me and the boyfriend once went in the hight of summer and it rained for the two days we were there and not just light showers, but torential down pour. Needless to say we came home early after i started crying!!
