Book First Capital Connect train ticket is advance or on internet?

Hi

I have a family railcard, and I want to book train tickets to central london on Sat 31 May.

It is best to book in advance on thfirstcapitalconnect website, or is it the same price if I just buy my tickets at the train station on the day?

any advice appreciated.

    Depends where you are travelling from to get to London.

    If you are travelling on an FCC train then there are no savings by booking on line. If you are using the FCC website to buy say a Virgin ticket then there could be.

    FCC offer print@home tickets for journeys between Luton Airport and London.
    Thats it for discounted tickets at £10.

    I am after tickets on First Capital connect trains, so I guess I might as well just buy from the station on the day then!!.

    Unless the £11 (£2 child) day ticket you buy from a tourist office is cheaper after you've taken travel costs in London into account.
