Lanzarote Car Hire

We are travelling to Lanzarote for a week in December (Costa Teguise) and are looking to hire a car. We have driven on serveral of the other Canaries but not Lanzarote.

Can anybody recommend a car hire company. We would like to avoid Sixt as we have had bad experiences with them in the past.

I might be tempted with that too, we're going last week in november.
Wasn't sure whether or not to hire a car or not but heard a lot of good reports that it's easy to get around and lots to see and do.
