This may be a long shot, but we need some advice, my f-i-law died recently he left a will, but he has several bank accounts, isa's and even an off shore account, we know of some of the accounts but not all, does anybody know how we go about finding out, we have a solictor who can research the same as us but at £180 per hour which he is charging to sort out the probate, we just cannot afford all of his services unfortunatlly, any advice please would be greatly welcome.
many thanks

All banks will have a dormant account leaflet.
Fill it in and send to each bank you think that he may have an account with and they will do the work for free for you.
Go through his papers thoroughly to search for any correspondence, statements etc.0 -
You could try http://www.mylostaccount.org.uk but it could take a few weeks.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
