LTSB and Natwest credit card queries

Hi there,

I had a look at LTSB's Change of Address form, http://www.lloydstsb.com/media/lloydstsb2004/pdfs/coa.pdf. I tried finding Natwest's but couldn't find it, but here goes my question...

There is a part for mailing (correspondence) address, but underneath it only says Sort Code and Account Number. Does it mean I can only put a Mailing Address for a normal bank account, or can I actually put that too for my LTSB and Natwest Credit Cards and does it mean all my credit card statements will then be sent to the Mailing Address?

Thank you very much.

As you have online access do you need paper statements at all?
  • Hi jonesMUFCforever,

No I don't need the paper statements at all, I know I can suppress paper statements for the bank accounts, but I don't see an option to suppress my paper credit card statement?

If there is a way, can you talk me through how?

    Thanks!

I would telephone their card services department (not the bank's main telephone number) to see whether this is an option.
  • Hi there, I called Natwest Card Services yesterday and they said fine, no problem, they can temporarily withhold the statements.

I called LTSB's Card Services. The first agent I spoke to said by law, LTSB will have to send the statements out as it contains information like the interest rates, but later on told me I can have my statements redirected to a LTSB branch if I like - I have to go to a branch, and ask them to contact Card Services, and they will do that for me.

When I go to the branch, they said there isn't a need to come into the branch, the Card Services can do that on their own (redirecting to LTSB branch).

I asked for a phone at LTSB so that I don't have to go to and from the branch, and I called Card Services there. The lady I spoke to immediately told me, no problem, we can withhold your statements while you are away.

Do you think LTSB will really withhold my statements while I am away (or will I find it ending up my doormat..?) Thanks :)

I wish I knew how but it would be good if you could get them to stop playing ping-pong with you between a branch and the card services department. It has happened to me on numerous occasions (also between the dept that deal with current accounts over the phone and a branch), each one contradicting what the other said and telling me they cannot help me go back to ...
