Leaking bath tub

My old bath tub was leaking and I was not aware of this until I tried to replace it with the new one & noticed there is dampness on a wooden bit. Now the same thing is happening, it is only a tiny drop sometimes it is ok and sometimes only 1 tiny drop after a bath. Is there anything else we can, we have used silicone etc? We thought change of pipes might solve the solution, but cannot get the same replacement one. Any tips, please!! Thanks

Not sure what you mean when you say you can't get reploacement ones. What pipes are you refering to? Most waste and incoming water pipes are standard so there shouldn't be a problem. A decent local plumber may be your best bet.

If it's coming from the plughole seal, you could consider using plumbers mait - available at B&Q amongst others. It's a not setting plumbing putty.

Are we certain that it is a leak ,

Such a small amount , possible condensation?

I'm thinking a loose connection would always leak.
Dry up the area. Fill bath , Empty bath ... while looking underneath!
