Kitchen tiles put down wrong help!

Hi, we're having a new kitchen fitted, and bought some black porcelain tiles 60 x 30 to be laid brickbond style on the floor. My husband told the tiler to put them down so the long edge was running widthwise (i wanted lengthwise to lengthen room) but forgot to say brickbond :mad: or rather he assumed this is what they would do without being told! However they did start the work sooner than expected and were told to ask about EVERYTHING before doing any work (contractors overseeing all the work as the whole house is being renovated).

The tiles have only just been put down with adhesive but not grouted - is there ANY way we can get them taken off and done again without ruining the tiles?

Unfortunately, If the tile adhesive has set it will be difficult if not impossible to get the tiles off without damaging them

Agent orange is right. If the adhesive is still wet, its fairly easy to take them up. But once set, a;most impossible without breaking them
