I've just received a letter from Atlantic detailing the price rises and the new prices all depend on which area you're in. But I could easily be in any of 3 of the areas (each with different prices) and I can't find anything to tell me which one I'm actually in. Can anyone tell me how I find out? Thanks :)

give them a call in the morning, they`ll sort you out, and also give them your meter readings, as the price went up april 1st, so from that day they will have charged you at the new rate. they may have also "estimated" your costs upto april 1st and you now have no way of giving then the reading at the old rate, crafty or what!

TenerC, if you feel you have been overcharges by the way we work out our pro rata billing, please could you call us up and we will happily negotiate amount of energy to charge at the pre-rise rate.

thanks for the offer, but i updated my meter reading the day before the increase so my bill was spot on. my crafty or what remark was due to the fact there hasn`t been much if any press adverts about the increase, and only now are people getting letters telling them about the increase, where as if they had got letters mid march then on the 31st they could have given a correct meter reading. but now they have to call you up and try and work out what they owed before the increase.

On your bill will be a supply number. The first 2 digits are different for each pricing area, for example 10- Eastern; 11 - East Midlands etc
