Best interest rate for £10000 for a month

I will be receiving £10000 into my current account shortly to spend on a new car. The money will sit in my account for at least a month so any tips on the best instant access savings account to park it in? Is a monthly interest paying one the best or does it not matter as if I close a yearly interest account on taking the money out I will still receive a months interest?

I would avoid the First Direct online saver because they won't pay interest for the month in which you withdraw money. Cahoot savings might be your best bet, but if you have time & energy, ICICI would pay you the highest rate.

Your very best bet, however, might be to open a current account that pays decent interest (e.g. Cahoot)
